Original Series:
Craftswomen in Seattle
To drive audience growth and establish PANO Magazine as a platform for local creatives, I conceptualized and produced Craftswomen in Seattle, an original content series highlighting female artists and makers. Through a combination of video storytelling, photography, and engaging written narratives, the series captured the inspiration behind each craft and the support network within Seattle’s art community.
The Problem

PANO Magazine needed a unique and engaging content series to grow its audience and establish itself as a platform that highlights local creativity. While Seattle has a thriving arts and crafts community, many female artists lacked visibility and recognition for their work.

The Solution

To address this, I created Craftswomen in Seattle, an original video and content series showcasing the stories of Seattle’s female artists. The series highlighted their inspiration, craftsmanship, and the supportive creative community that helps them thrive.
Mindy Hu launched Alma Botanicals in 2016 to provide truly all-natural skincare products by using as few (yet effective) ingredients as possible.
During her trip to Antarctica, she realized that many so-called organic skincare products were actually chemical-based. This led her to ask, “Why is it so hard to find all-natural products over the counter?”
Amz Saezim, the founder of Mountain Fox Goods, began her journey of designing and selling leather goods in 2017 after crafting her first wallet as a birthday gift for her husband. Driven by her passion for craftsmanship, she continues to create minimalist, nature-inspired products.
"I want to make sure that my products are made from the highest quality materials and built to last a lifetime," says Amz Saezim, emphasizing her commitment to using premium, USA-sourced leathers in every piece.
Pesha Nguyen, founder of Tiny Asteroid Jewelry, discovered her passion for jewelry design in high school during a metalsmithing and wax-carving class. Inspired by the idea of creating unique, statement pieces to complement every outfit, her designs embody fun, individuality, and self-expression.

Believing that every perfect imperfection in life leads to growth, Pesha embraces failure as an essential part of the creative process. For her, each challenge sparks innovation, allowing her to refine and elevate her craft, one piece at a time.
Wanting to explore the possibilities in ceramics, Ling Chun (秦玲) delivers a bold statement through her works: "No More Stereotype" - on art itself and on her own identity as a #HongKonger.
