Shop Chinatown–
A Collaborative Production with Ethnic Seattle
The Shop Chinatown video has played a significant role in promoting cultural diversity within the Seattle community, and it continues to serve as a powerful tool for supporting local businesses in Chinatown-International District.
The Project:

In 2018, I partnered with Ethnic Seattle, a non-profit organization dedicated to amplifying the voices and stories of underrepresented communities, to create the Shop Chinatown promotion video. This project aimed to spotlight the vibrant, minority-owned businesses in Seattle's historic Chinatown-International District, highlighting their cultural significance and the challenges they face in a rapidly evolving urban landscape.
As the lead video producer for this project, I was responsible for the entire production process, including:
1. Concept Development and Storytelling
Collaborating with the Ethnic Seattle team to identify key businesses and craft compelling narratives around their owners and operations.

2. Filming and Editing
Collaborating with the Ethnic Seattle team to identify key businesses and craft compelling narratives around their owners and operations.

3. Interviewing Business Owners

4. Project Management
Coordinating the logistics of the project, including scheduling shoots, organizing locations, and ensuring smooth communication between all stakeholders.
